Personnel
When adding personnel groups to a case, there are a variety of parameters that allow you to customize, e.g., whether the personnel are full time or subcontracted, how many personnel are in the group, and what skills the personnel have.
This page covers the available parameters you can set on personnel groups in both Design Construction and Design O&M.
Personnel parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Group type | Whether personnel are full time or subcontractors. If you select Subcontractors , the Unlimited parameter becomes available. If you select Full time employees , the Availability parameter becomes available. See the Subcontractors and personnel utilization section for a note on the personnel utilization output when using subcontractors. |
Unlimited | Whether there is a fixed number of personnel available within the group or not. If you select Unlimited , the Members parameter is no longer available. |
Members | The number of personnel within the group. |
Home base | Where daily operations begin from. This can be a port, offshore base, or SOV. |
Availability | Whether the personnel are available all year, seasonally (between fixed dates), or only on certain weekdays. |
Season | Note: O&M only. Only available when you enable a campaign on the personnel page. Whether the personnel are available inside or outside of the campaign dates. |
Work hours | Whether work hours are fixed or staggered. Fixed: All personnel start and finish work at the same time. Staggered: Define when the first shift starts, the shift length, the interval between shifts starting, and the number of shifts per day. Shoreline will calculate a staggered shift schedule for you based on these inputs and the number of personnel in the group. |
Skills | Select which skills the personnel group have. Required skills are set on WTG commissioning tasks (Design Construction) and scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks (Design O&M). |
Allowed transport | The logistic types that can transport the personnel. |
Hourly salary | For full-time personnel: The annual salary per person. The annual salary is converted into a daily salary by dividing it by 365.25, then every day a member of personnel is available, the daily salary is calculated. For subcontractors: The hourly salary per person. |
