Import Activity Categories

Map and import custom activity categories to save time over manually defining the same settings through the Shoreline Execution app. Import functionality makes configuring your account quicker, especially when dealing with large numbers of activity categories.

tip

When making edits to activity categories, export your existing categories, make your edits on the exported file, and import that file.

Steps to Import Activity Categories

1. Click on your Account settings (gear) icon.
2. Click Import.
3. In the left-hand menu, click Account settings > Activity categories.
4. Map your import file’s field names to the Activity category fields.
5. Select the relevant Mapping types.

6. Click Save.
7. Click Choose file under Upload and import.
8. Click Upload and import to Activity category.

Your activity categories are now imported into Shoreline Execution. You can verify them by heading to Account settings > Activity categories.
