Import Asset Types

Map and import custom asset types to save time over manually defining the same settings through the Shoreline Execution app. Import functionality makes configuring your account quicker, especially when dealing with large numbers of asset types.

Steps to Import Asset Types

1. Click on your Account settings (gear) icon.
2. Click Import.
3. In the left-hand menu, click Account settings > Asset types.
4. Map your import file’s field names to the Asset type fields.
5. Select the relevant Mapping types.

6. Click Save.
7. Click Choose file under Upload and import.
8. Click Upload and import to Asset types.

Your asset types are now imported into Shoreline Execution. You can verify them by heading to Account settings > Sites/Assets > Asset types.
